I was inspired by my own post. Yes that can happen and yes that is allowed. I love that post of mine and was reading it again. That led to another thought.
What if the world was without mirrors. What if the mirror was never invented. The disadvantage would be that we would not be able to see ourselves. We may never become dressed up or clean or presentable. In fact those words may not ever have been invented.
On the other hand, since nobody knows how one looks there would never be the concept of beautiful or ugly. I so want the world to be that. No more judging anybody.
Nobody would be able to say anything about anybody since they would not know how they look. So they would always be careful of the fact, what if I look more ugly or something.
People would just go on with their lives. No rating anybody. You are what you do and not what you look. Random thoughts. Had to flush it out.

nice thoughts… When we come to thing of it, we make judgements about everyone based on how they look. However, my question is would that not just lead us to stop comparing people with our selves? We would still compare people amongst themselves. I might not compare tom cruise with my self but i can compare him with someone else? And just that would help create my judgements…

Nice post. How very true about being judged. I think it would be a better world if we stop judging people. Although people do judge most of the time with good intentions, the person being judged gets hurt and also it leads to other things. Let us try to live lives without judging or being judged!

@yasir – where are you man? you ve gone missing…
Nice follow-up thought on your side… I felt that if we dont see ourselves ever… we would never know how we look and whether its beautiful or ugly… that would keep us away from vanity… regardless of whether we judge people or not… we may think twice before commenting…

To add to what Ghazal has mentioned, reflections in other liquids as well, including oil, besides shiny surfaces like, say utensils or cutlery or even doors covered with a metal like silver or aluminium or an alloy like steel…

i think i will go with what yasir said!
i may not know how i look but there will be someone who will tell me i look better than so n so or worse! sometimes i think being judgmental is a part of our DNA. sigh!
